Working with kids and not sure where to start? Wanting to use more play but are unsure how? This workshop will give you an in-depth introduction to play therapy. We will look at the therapeutic powers of play and help you to gain an understanding of how and why play therapy works. We will focus on directive play therapy and learn play-based interventions to use with children to help them express themselves and learn social-emotional skills. We will also discuss the role of a play therapist, and how to become a play therapist.
