Love is one of the most powerful agents of macro and micro level change, yet the field of social work rarely studies or considers how to practice love. This workshop will explore the work of Bell Hooks and Brene Brown who have written on this topic. Learning Objectives Participants will be able to: Identify the ways love can be a change agent in the lives of social workers and clients. Describe boundaries and limits to the practice of love. Formulate ways to implement love into your current social work practice.
